August 26, 2025: Algonquin, IL 60102 Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) followers went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the host Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL), 25-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Elk Grove advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Grenadiers host Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to play the Cougars in a match on Wednesday, August 27. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 0-1. Conant lost 48-18 in their recent league match against Barrington (Barrington, IL)
