In Tuesday's non-league match, the host San Dieguito Academy Mustangs flag football squad scored a close 21-20 win over the Helix Highlanders.

With the win, San Dieguito Academy advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA) to play the Sundevils in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Sundevils go into the battle with a record of 2-1.

The Highlanders now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Clairemont for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. Helix will play a Chieftains team coming off a 28-6 league win over Hoover (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-1.
