The Torrance Tartars flag football team scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Peninsula Panthers to 0 in the Tartars non-league win on Tuesday.

In their next game, the Tartars face the El Segundo Eagles (El Segundo, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Torrance will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 28-12 non-league win over South (Torrance, CA).
