August 26, 2025: Crookston, MN 56716 The Moorhead Spuds soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Crookston Pirates to 0 in the Spuds non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spuds now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Minnetonka for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6.
With the loss, Crookston moves to 0-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN) to play the Johnnies in a Class A Section 8 bout on Thursday, August 28. The Johnnies go into the bout with a record of 2-1. St. John's Prep won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Princeton (Princeton, MN)
