The Tigers now hold a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Louisville for a non-league contest on Thursday, August 28. Howland will battle a Leopards team coming off a 0-0 non-league Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH). The Leopards record now stands at 0-1.
The Fighting Irish (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Austintown-Fitch beat St. Edward (Lakewood, OH), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
