Virginia High School Volleyball - Jefferson Forest winner over New Covenant
August 26, 2025: Forest, VA 24551 Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), 2-0 in a non-league outing.
The Cavaliers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Staunton River for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Jefferson Forest will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, New Covenant drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Lynchburg HomeSchool (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Lynchburg HomeSchool lost 2-0 in their recent league game against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association (Richmond, VA)
