Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Butler nudges Gateway
August 26, 2025: Butler, PA 16001 The Butler Golden Tornado (Butler, PA) soccer got by the visiting Gateway Gators (Monroeville, PA), 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Golden Tornado (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Vikings enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Central Catholic was edged by Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Gators battle the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 28. Gateway will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Big Macs enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA).
