August 26, 2025: Winston-Salem, NC 27104 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Hickory Christian Academy Knights (Hickory, NC) and the host Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC), saw Hickory Christian Academy's soccer squad knock off Calvary Day School by a score of 3-0.
The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy (Mooresville, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy by Greater Cabarrus Athletic Association (Concord, NC), 8-0, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Calvary Day School will clash with a Lion team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over St. Thomas More Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Lion record now stands at 3-0.
