Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL), 7-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Oak Lawn moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 1-0.

The Warriors now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Herscher for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28.
