August 26, 2025: Sturgis, MI 49091 The Sturgis Trojans soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Hopkins Vikings to 0 in the Trojans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edwardsburg for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3. Sturgis will face a Eddies team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Buchanan (Buchanan, MI). The Eddies record now stands at 4-1.
The Vikings (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Belding (Belding, MI). The Black Knights enter the Ottawa-Kent - Silver game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Belding was overwhelmed by Newaygo (Newaygo, MI), 1-0, in a non-league game.
