Georgia High School Softball - Central bounces Starr's Mill
August 26, 2025: Carrollton, GA 30116 The Central Lions softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Starr's Mill Panthers to 2 in the Lions league win on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northgate for a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 27. Central will confront a Vikings team coming off a 15-0 league win over Banneker (College Park, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.
The Panthers (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Whitewater edged Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA), 17-0, in a league challenge.
