Georgia High School Softball - Mt. Zion bested by Model
August 26, 2025: Mt. Zion, GA 30117 The Model Blue Devils triumphed over the host Mt. Zion Eagles softball team by a final score of 12-4 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Blue Devils now own a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Heard County for a 1A D-I Region 6 challenge on Thursday, August 28. Model will meet a Braves squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Braves record now stands at 4-3.
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Douglas County was routed by East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA), 7-0, in a league challenge.
