In Tuesday's non-league match, the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, August 27. Alexander Central will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC).
