The Batavia Bulldogs edged the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Metea Valley for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Batavia will play a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Glenbard East (Lombard, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, West Aurora drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Fremd (Palatine, IL) to play the Vikings in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
