August 26, 2025: Douglasville, GA 30134 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Douglas County Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hampton Hornets.
The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Langston Hughes gained a win over Griffin (Griffin, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lithia Springs for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Hampton will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (Atlanta, GA). The Lions record now stands at 6-6.
