August 26, 2025: Oxnard, CA 93036 The Foothill Tech Dragons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Rio Mesa Spartans to 0 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Dragons now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Villanova Prep for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 28. Foothill Tech will play a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Rio Mesa drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA) to play the Chargers in a Channel outing on Thursday, August 28. The Chargers come into the outing with a record of 0-8. Dos Pueblos lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Westlake (Westlake Village, CA)
