August 26, 2025: Sour Lake, TX 77659 In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Hardin-Jefferson Hawks volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Silsbee Tigers.
With the win, Hardin-Jefferson advances its record to 9-3 on the season. The Hawks travel to Caney Creek (Conroe, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 7-10. Caney Creek lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Lamar (Houston, TX)
The Tigers now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamshire-Fannett for a non-league test on Friday, August 29. Silsbee will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 3-10.
