North Carolina High School Volleyball - Huss overwhelmed by West Charlotte
August 26, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28216 West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Charlotte upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Independence (Charlotte, NC) to play the Patriots in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Independence lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Weddington (Matthews, NC)
The Huskies (0-2) will now prepare for their game against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats go into the Big South 5A/6A game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, North Gaston went down by Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
