In Tuesday's league challenge, the host IDEA Weslaco Pike Mavericks volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the IDEA Sports Park Stingrays.
The Mavericks (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX). The Bobcats enter the 3A Region IV District 32 challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Rio Hondo was defeated by Lyford (Lyford, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
The Stingrays now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host IDEA Frontier College Prep for a 3A Region IV District 32 test on Tuesday, September 9.
