In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mountain View Prep Stars volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Laurens Academy Crusaders.

The Stars (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest (Greenville, SC). The Crusaders enter the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record.

In their next game, the Crusaders face the King Academy Knights (Batesburg, SC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. Laurens Academy will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC).
