Texas High School Volleyball - Lubbock overwhelmed by Midland Legacy
August 26, 2025: Lubbock, TX 79401 Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Midland Legacy upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Plainview (Plainview, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 6-8. Plainview lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Monterey (Lubbock, TX)
The Westerners now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granbury for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Lubbock will face a Pirates squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Legacy (Wichita Falls, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 9-11.
