August 26, 2025: Jonesboro, GA 30236 Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Luella Lions (Luella, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Mt. Zion improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Lovejoy 0-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA)
Next, the Lions meet the Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Luella will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA).
