August 26, 2025: Rusk, TX 75785 The Malakoff Tigers prevailed the host Rusk Eagles volleyball squad by a margin of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Tigers now possess a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rice for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Malakoff will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hubbard (Hubbard, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-8.
With the loss, Rusk drops to 4-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 6-1. Tyler Legacy won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX)
