Ohio High School Volleyball - McDonald over Springfield

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) and the host Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH), saw McDonald's volleyball squad notch a victory over Springfield by a score of 3-1.

The Blue Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Western Reserve (Berlin Center, OH). The Blue Devils enter the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Western Reserve notched a victory over Harding (Warren, OH), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet contest, on Thursday, August 28. Springfield will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Rockets enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 3-2 league loss to Waterloo (Atwater, OH).
