The Portsmouth Christian Patriots volleyball squad (Portsmouth, VA), dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA)

With the win, Summit Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Eagles host Denbigh Baptist Christian (Newport News, VA) to meet the Minutemen in a VISAA Division 3 contest on Friday, August 29. The Minutemen enter the contest with a record of 5-2. Denbigh Baptist Christian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA)

Next, the Patriots encounter the Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. Portsmouth Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA).
