Ohio High School Football - Big Walnut defeats Zanesville

August 27, 2021: Sunbury, OH 43074

In Friday's non-league match, the host Big Walnut Golden Eagles football squad scored a good 42-19 victory over the Zanesville Blue Devils.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Beechcroft Cougars (Columbus, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 3. Big Walnut will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 49-14 non-league loss to Hoover (North Canton, OH).

The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH). The Scotties enter the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Tri-Valley ran past Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH), 35-17, in a non-league match.
