The Northpoint Christian Trojans football team (Southaven, MS), was tipped 74-69 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN)

The Cardinals (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Overton (Memphis, TN). The Wolverines come into the 5A Region 8 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Overton nipped Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Millington, TN), 56-22, in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marshall County for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 3. Northpoint Christian will meet a Marshals team coming off a 46-6 non-league win over Fulton County (Hickman, KY). The Marshals record now stands at 2-0.
