  22. A. Trejo

    MD All Day!
  23. J. Cane

  27. M. Hansen

People already making excuses and it’s only the first Qtr lol. “Shoulda played Westlake”. Game would probably look just like this one.
  28. W. Texas Ranger

    we play Westlake next week
  29. J. Cane

No hansen, when it’s a school that recruits all excuses are valid. Don’t know how they’re considered a “high school” team.
  30. M. Hansen

Then I’m guessing they should not have taken a game they new they’d lose.
  31. .. Prime

Cane all the players on this team is literally from around the area lol
  32. J. Cane

Hansen, Duncanville is kids from a neighborhood LOL
  33. C. Britton

Went to the game, but came home. Line was around building. Poor planning! Too many mask less people.
  34. S. Hintermeyer

Never fails.....teams lose, and it’s always “well they recruit.” All week been hearing how texas will clober MD. Ha ha ha lol
  35. W. Texas Ranger

I'm glad the players is not listening to this stuff. Come on everyone. Really
  39. L. Schmitt

  40. D. Pree

    Monarchs came to play...
  41. D. Williams

DeSoto loosing 35-14 to a unknown school
  42. D. Pree

    Let's GO Mater Dei...yassssssss!!!
  43. G. Troiano

I truly believe these two teams could beat a lot of Junior College teams
  44. M. Davis

    Let’s go MD
  45. J. Cane

“Unknown school” put some respect on judsons name, best school in San Antonio SMH.
  46. W. Texas Ranger

Judson is a good team //and well known here
  47. B. Smith

Westlake, southlake, north shore would of been getting whopped on like this so please stop with the excuses. They didn’t want no smoke.
  48. J. Serra

    Go Big Red! ‘85
  49. J. Cane

Southlake beat this Duncanville, that same southlake got destroyed at state by westlake…
  50. M. Williams

Last time a So Cal team went to Texas was Bishop Amat vs Aledo. BA put a running clock on them in Aledo. Btw, that's the only game
  51. M. Williams

Aledo lost that yr. They won the 5a title
  52. J. Cane

Why are the only good Cali teams private?… hmmm
  53. W. Texas Ranger

u know what stop all this? maxiprep's to have two divisions. private schools and public schools
  54. G. Troiano

look up Rocklin HS in Northern California
  55. C. Sanders

This is embarrassing for TX just put Katy against them and see them get creamed
  56. J. Garcia

Wondering if I got here before the texas boys started crying about recruiting lol. Don’t play the best in CA if you’re just gonna cry
  57. P. Hood

I guess you have never heard of Long Beach Poly. Mission Viejo, Centennial, Corona Del Mar, Folsom, Helix,
  58. W. Texas Ranger

EHHHH. De LaSalle lost to us Euless Trinity 26-21 both large division teams in 2015
  59. c. keil

This does not expose TX football or its players....it exposes its business model. And I am a huge CA supporter. TX players are good!!!!!
  60. K. J

It’s the coaching. MD can take so-so players and coach them into great players.
  61. W. Texas Ranger

    its the Folsom guy
  62. .. Prime

Y’all still have yet to fly out here to Cali Texas ranger lol
  63. P. Hood

De La Salle has lost to a few out of state teams. So What?
  64. G. Troiano

Northern California, De Lasalle is the team in the north. all those power football schools in So-Call are in same league no easy games.
  65. D. Bow

Best football players come from California
  66. W. Texas Ranger

    hey its Phil
  67. J. Cane

Maxpreps needs to make a separate list for all these recruiting schools.
  68. T. Palmer

    They should have played Katy
  69. P. Hood

Also, consider this Mater Dei could lose to 2 schools in their division
  70. M. Womack

Yall California fans all on texas D
  71. c. keil

    J. Cane..I agree, but until then, why argue to facts?????
  72. G. Troiano

California HS Teams play any team. Away or home. Ask IMG Academy
  73. F. Schultz

My team is De la salle, yes we lost to Trinity in 2015. Unfortunately we have lost most out of state & so cal games the past 7 years.
  74. W. Texas Ranger

got bent? stating the facts. Yes and the Trinity league is the best division in football.
  75. D. Cooksy

Yall arent playing the best Texas team lol
  76. P. Hood

Hahaha the best Texas team would lose also. Give me a break
  77. J. Cane

Obviously..? MD has an office that is literally dedicated to recruiting HAHA.
  78. M. Womack

    California fans annoying goodbye
  79. P. Hood

All top teams in football no matter what the state recruit
  80. J. Cane

Yes P hood, this is true, but not to the extent that schools outside of UIL do. UIL has strict rules against this.
  81. c. keil

I believe the argument hinges on teams vs players. CA has better teams do to business model and recruiting but TX has equal players
  82. T. McDermott

Duncanville may not be Best team in Texas but they agreed to go head to head with arguably the best team in the country. Props to them
  83. s. brown

Most so-cal tough teams would smash TX teams. The Trinity league is SEC of HS. Throw in MV, Helix, CCHS, LBP, RCHS, UHS, ect. CA is best!
  84. P. Hood

Yeah I respect Duncanville, The other Texas teams just sit back and beatup cupcakes
  85. G. Troiano

The starting QB for Alabama & Clemson. Are from South Cal. Same league HS football at its best
  86. B. Smith

“The best Texas team” didn’t want to play they were scared. Cali teams don’t run from any challenge. Westlake’s schedule is trash
  87. B. Newman

You wanna play a California public school, play Centennial of Corona. Duncanville will still lose. Next time come to Cali to play.
  88. J. Thomas

    CA boys came to play
  89. M. Davis

Yes give mad respect to Duncanville for taking on #1 team two years in a row. IMG last season.
  90. F. Schultz

Let’s focus on these 2 teams. Duncanville will be stronger after this game & run the tables, while MDHS will still have St John Bosco twice.
  91. P. Hood

You have to respect Duncanville they are the only Texas team that doesn't back down. They are the Long Beach Poly and Centennial of Texas
  92. D. Pree

Them CALI boys eating GOOD out there in TEXAS.....
  93. R. Kathman

Re Alabama and Clemson starting QBs from Trinity League you can add J. T. Daniels at Georgia to that list.
  94. B. Smith

@newman They will never come to Cali to play. But down 31-3 @ HT is embarrassing!! You can’t let someone fly to your home and smack you up
  95. B. Newman

Mater Dei doesn’t need to recruit outside of California babies, we have plenty of good football players in our own backyard.
  96. J. Cane

Who recruits better Bosco or MD? Got me thinking it’s the NFL with all these signings AHAH.
  97. B. Newman

All the colleges, especially the Western US recruits players from California. We’re loaded with football, basketball, and baseball players.
  98. J. malone

Duncanville isn’t even a top 5 team in texas west lake would whoop mater dei
  99. M. Davis

It’s not about private vs Public it’s about the best HS football. If you going to be in the conversation of the best in Nation then
  100. M. Davis

You got to do better than 41-14 cz IMG or 31-3 at the half to MD
  101. P. Hood

    M. Davis they all recruit
  102. c. keil

saying westlake would whoop MD is like the poodle barking at the German shepard lol
  103. P. Hood

The same teams winning in Texas year after year come on and there is no recruiting
  104. B. Smith

Westlake would get dragged all over the field. Please stop it. That’s why they didn’t want to play MD, duh!! No heart at all.
  105. C. Ruiz

West lake would also be destroyed by md
  106. M. Davis

I know Hood but your not going to convince the TX teams that they don’t. LOL
  107. P. Hood

Westlake would get rocked too. Might be closer 24 to 42
  108. B. Smith

@keil lol I’m rolling !! Yea that was a dumb statement on his end.
  109. J. Cane

Texas > Cali. More nfl players from texas, can’t argue with the facts.
  110. L. Uribe

    Duncanville over rated!
  111. K. Johnson

You guys are trying way to hard to compare all these different stats about TX compared to Ca. Just take your L like men.
  112. P. Hood

Just means indivual talent. Not team talent. California has better teams
  113. A. Xayaseng

Let's go Raleek Brown and Mater Dei
  114. P. Hood

    *individual
  115. c. keil

TX has more square milesthan CA...TX football is better LOL
  116. J. Cane

    K. Johnson. Just saying, these aren’t “schools” anymore, they’re recruiting facilities that happen to have some classrooms.
  117. B. Benson

    Full house
  118. J. Cane

Better teams cause they get what little talent they have to go to a super team HAHA!
  119. K. Johnson

You’re telling me multiple coaches are getting paid 5-6 figures but they can’t figure out a way to “recruit” athletes. Come on now
  120. c. keil

Yeah, the little talent they had are three of the top five Heisman betting winners this year
  121. K. Johnson

With million dollar stadium out in TX you’re telling me no one recruits?.. why make these facilities so nice and appealing?
  122. .. Prime

I hope y’all know all these players on mater dei is from around the area not even more than 45 mins away if that max lol
  123. J. Cane

It’s literally against league rules, they get caught it can have grave consequences for the recruiter and recruit.
  124. M. Romero

Texans crying about "recruiting"....I have family in Texas and a nephew who drives almost 2 hours to attend a public school in Texas for fb.
  125. B. Newman

I’m sure Ducanville can get kids anywhere in Dallas, and probably Ft. Worth too.
  126. A. Bazel

For all those People saying "Mater Dei recruits" No they dont. You dont even live in Cali to be making those false statements...
  127. t. w

If Duncanville would be winning, Texas folks would say there's nothing like Texas football. When they get served it's unfair recruiting
  128. W. B

Individually Texans are nice, but collectively they come off as arrogant loud mouths (i.e. 'Don't mess with Texas' bumper stickers)
  129. .. Prime

Thank you lol they don’t know all these players choose what school they want to go to in the 8th grade
  130. J. Cane

45 minutes, that’s a little of ground dude. That would be like Duncanville taking talent from Allen, Desoto, southlake, Rockwall. WOW
  131. t. w

If that's the built in excuse, then public schools on the schedule if they're just going to cry about it.
  132. B. Galvan

Mater Dei recruits , I go go there , so embarrassing, needs to recruit to be relevant like IGM
  133. A. Bazel

Exactly... Texas fans always using the "Cali recruits" Term when they lose
  134. B. Newman

Never have I seen so much whining, but when Trinity beat DLS, in 100 degree day temperatures against 2-way players, they boasted.
  135. J. Cane

Section 406 texas uil rule book
  136. W. B

Strange too considering they lost a battle to Mexico, we didn't, The Bear Flag Revolt went down as expected.
  137. G. Troiano

they choose these schools in CA. 97% graduates. And over 94% graduates go to college
  138. D. Andersob

After 30 years of teaching at Duncavile. They are confined to the schools city limits. If they could go all over the country to recruit.
  139. J. Cane

Or like North Shore taking talent from Katy and Tompkins since you want to use the “45 minute” excuse.
  140. .. Prime

I said 40 mins if that because it might be a kid or two from there stop with the excuses Texas fanboys and just take the L
  141. B. Newman

Texas state champions Aledo only lost 1 game in 2014. They lost easily to Bishop Amat, who ended up losing 4 games.
  142. B. Smith

If Texas put their top 3 schools against Cali top 3 , Cali would definitely win. And MD & SJB don’t have to recruit. Kids want to go there
  143. J. Cane

It’s not an excuse it’s a fact, stop hiding the public schools behind recruiting facilities LOL.
  144. B. Newman

Yep, and maybe more than 3 teams. Servite, DLS, and Centennial.
  145. G. Hernandez

And just like that it’s over.
  146. M. Gusti

No. 1 Mater Dei vs. No. 13 Duncanville in Texas on August 27 The Mater Dei Monarchs of Santa Ana, CA, ranked as the preseason #1 team in the
  147. s. brown

Longgggg half time! Dville forget where the field is? ????
  148. P. Goesinya

Duncanville is not the best team in Texas. Westlake is by far..
  149. D. Andersob

Yep, but do they need to have residents there are just go to school line colkeges
  150. t. w

    time for the running clock
  151. G. Carmean

MD isn't even the best team in its league.
  152. c. keil

It is time to start paying Duncanville players to throw the rest of their games to protect the "prestige" of TX football
  153. A. Jackson

Lol, I played my last HS game against Mater Dei. My HS beat them by 53 points in the state title game in 93. Their coach is the GOAT
  154. P. Goesinya

Love the MD scorer name Zack Poff, wonder if he has a brother named Jack?
  155. E. Parker

I love DVille and Texas HSFB, but we just lost straight and simple. I’m sure we have teams that can beat MD & ones that can’t. We could go
  156. W. B

Someone made a comment about California having 'little talent' silly statement but still, here is stats to refute
  157. E. Parker

back and find teams of the past that could beat MD and some rn that will surprise us. MD is just good, we still have the record vs Cali but
  158. L. Uribe

Geez... Duncanville.... take your starters out now and put in your Hamburger Squad... you're embarrassing!!!
  159. E. Parker

they beat us plain and simple. We move on and continue with our lives. We could beat MD next year with another team but no point in tweaking
  160. A. Jackson

Cali has more NFL players in the league than Texas. Facts. Of the top 50 schools with the most NFL,NBA,MLB players. 23 out of 50 from CA
  161. c. keil

Funny how the blue states in that map win the NCAA...I wonder if they recruit from the red states....we all do it LOL
  162. B. Newman

There’s no team in Texas that can beat MD. Just face the facts. They’ve beaten every team out of state for years. Only loss to B Gorman NV
  163. t. w

One more score then start taking a knee on 4th down, maybe?
  164. L. Carasell

    Let’s go Santa Ana
  165. B. Newman

@AJackson and California is the best state in the Olympics too.
  166. r. s

Y’all are arguing over high school football, grow up. Your high school days are over.
  167. J. Garcia

Does Cali ball hang 50 on one of the top 3 teams in texas?
  168. B. Smith

I see a running clock in Duncanville future tonight lol
  169. B. Newman

Only Snoop Dogs Bishop Gorman beat Mater Dei a long time ago, or was that St John Bosco? Now that’s a school that was recruiting everywhere
  170. A. Jackson

Mater Dei is the Alabama of high school football. These kids actually get a great education too. You have to respect greatness
  171. C. Britton

When did the Cal. teams finish playing this spring?
  172. R. Watson

Matei Dei in for a treat in 2 years. Their is a school in Texas that will be the first school recruiting HS like the monarchs. Get ready!
  173. B. Newman

Next time will have to send Mission Viejo to play Ducanville, to give them a fair chance to win the game. Lol
  174. P. Goesinya

Looks like the H O M O's are happy in Cali tonight!
  175. G. Troiano

Well MD brought in a lot of under class men And their sophomore scored, ouch the QB IS A sophomore to.
  176. s. brown

Upland beating orange Lutheran. OL should be easy game for MD. Servite will be tough. Servite smashed MV.
  177. J. Thomas

    Just take that L
  178. J. Garcia

Awe, I see a butthurt beta Texan entered the chat haha
  179. F. Schultz

De La Salle with a upset win over Mater Dei in the California state title game. Probably and most likely not but I hope so.
  180. B. Newman

I remember a good Westlake team from TX lost to Liberty NV. Then Liberty lost to Centennial Corona 2 weeks later.
  181. c. keil

Texas fans last three words when he challenges out of state competition "hold my beer"
  182. J. Garcia

DLS is a well coached team, but they don’t have NEAR the talent of MD or Bosco, or even Servite. Let’s see how DLS does w/ Folsom first
  183. R. Watson

Aww Mr Garcia, facts are facts.. it’s okay…. Woo woo… what’s crazy is Matei Dei didn’t pick DeSoto, or Allen or Southlake Carroll or Travis.
  184. R. Watson

I remember when DeSoto ( Tx ) beat De La Salle IN TEXAS!
  185. J. Soto

If Duncanville recruited the top talent just scouting DFW areas this game and conversation would be very different. Cali needs to know!
  186. G. Vergara

This game just proves that Cali has a way better hs football than Texas. (SKILL)
  187. G. Troiano

it seems that the LINE play on both sides, are better in South Cal teams. Power and speed. Look what they did tonight.
  188. A. Jackson

Clearly the three best teams are MD, IMG and SJB. Everyone else is a turtle.
  189. M. Hansen

    Wrong Soto.
  190. .. Prime

Y’all Texas fans need to chill they’re highschool kids at the end of the day lol they flew from Cali to Texas and won easy
  191. B. Newman

DLS has nobody to challenge them in Nor Cal. Maybe Folsom, if they’re still good. Too bad they didn’t schedule Servite this year.
  192. M. B

Good grief. Just tuned in. Why are they whipping D. Is it talent, scheme, or both?
  193. c. keil

    R. Watson, clearly your memory is better than mine because I only have to remember about 10 seconds ago LOL
  194. B. Smith

Duncanville was better off playing servite or centennial. I mean they still would of lost but MD as your first game was a big mistake
  195. W. B

Many great players in California end their careers with high school due to the sheer number of great players a big name schools.
  196. J. Findley

Duncanville making excuses even before the game is over. You don’t need to recruit when great football players want to go to school there.
  197. R. Watson

Mr Soto Cali will never admit if Texas recruited like them it be over for them and they know it. But good win Monarchs.
  198. j. black

Clearly y’all Texans use way too much SALT
  199. c. Britt

Sorry guys but Mater Dei is a beast this year....they are going to crush every opponent
  200. A. Bazel

    R. Watson... MD didnt ask DV to play them, DV asked MD lol!!! Desoto just lost to an unranked team today didnt they?
  201. W. B

Recruiters in CA find all they need by visiting the same schools year after year, leaving players like Aaron Rodgers to play at JC from HS
  202. J. Garcia

Indeed Mr Watson, facts are facts. 45-3
  203. M. Hansen

Again for the reading impaired. MD doesn’t need to recruit. Kids want to go play there.
  204. m. gilbert

Bosco will have a say n that
  205. P. Goesinya

Dang Duncanville, You lost to a bunch of dudes from pole smokerville. There's going to be lots of dookie dunking tonight.
  206. c. Britt

True.......MD turns players away......credit to Duncanville though for saying hey let's do this
  207. m. gilbert

Bosco gonna give them a game come Oct 1st
  208. R. Watson

Your clearly a clown. DeSoto did not loose. 7:37. 28 to 35 and DeSoto has the ball about to score. You just worry about your recruiting team
  209. J. Garcia

Imagine being a homophobe, while simultaneously admitting the people you’re calling homosexuals as an epithet STOMPED your team lol
  210. M. Hansen

Pete Carroll said it best. He could recruit in just the LA area alone and get the best talent in the country.
  211. F. Schultz

Agree DLS vs Sevite would be an excellent game. They are facing a San Diego powerhouse. I will be going to the Folsom game gonna be fun.
  212. c. Britt

Bosco will be good game as usual.......two Heisman candidates from each school this year will be watching (AL
  213. G. Troiano

Mater Dei defense out scored Duncanville offense
  214. R. Watson

Hey ask Amon-Ra if they recruit and see what they tell you. Haha … I can ask him for you, personally.
  215. J. Cane

    Recruiting schools ruin football.
  216. W. B

thousands of great players in California go nowhere because they play at unheralded schools and there are enough big schools to recruit
  217. J. Garcia
