The Hudson Raiders held off the host River Falls Wildcats football team by a count of 29-28 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Hudson upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders host Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI) to confront the Warriors in a Big Rivers outing on Friday, September 3. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 1-1. Rice Lake lost 28-20 in their recent non-league outing against Northwestern (Maple, WI)

With the loss, River Falls moves to 0-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Tomah (Tomah, WI) to confront the Timberwolves in a Mississippi Valley outing on Friday, September 3. The Timberwolves go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Tomah lost 12-7 in their recent non-league bout against Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI)
