The Colonels (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Delta Streets Academy (Greenwood, MS). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Delta Streets Academy was knocked off by Washington (Greenville, MS), 28-15, in a non-league challenge.
The Colts now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benton Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 3. Lee Academy will meet a Raiders team coming off a 59-41 non-league win over Oak Hill Academy (West Point, MS). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
