The Monroe Redhawks football squad scored 43 points and limited the visiting Piedmont Panthers to 0 in the Redhawks non-league win on Friday.

The Redhawks now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Concord for a non-league battle on Friday, September 3. Monroe will play a Spiders squad coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 0-1.
