The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) and the host Muncy Indians (Muncy, PA), observed Northern Lehigh's football squad defeat Muncy by a count of 40-21.

The Bulldogs now own a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Northwestern Lehigh for a Colonial-Schuylkill contest on Thursday, September 2. Northern Lehigh will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 42-13 league win over Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams (Bloomsburg, PA) in a PIAA District IV contest, on Saturday, September 4.
