Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host New Castle Hurricanes (New Castle, PA), 30-13 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Shaler Area improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Titans host Mars (Mars, PA) to confront the Fightin' Planets in a non-league test on Friday, September 3. The Fightin' Planets come into the test with a record of 0-1. Mars lost 37-0 in their recent non-league test against North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA)

With the loss, New Castle drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA) to confront the Quakers in a non-league test on Friday, September 3. The Quakers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Quaker Valley lost 33-0 in their recent non-league test against Beaver (Beaver, PA)
