Wisconsin High School Football - Turner topples St. Francis
August 27, 2021: St. Francis, WI 53235 The Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI) football defeated the host St. Francis Mariners (St. Francis, WI), 41-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Luther Prep Phoenix (Watertown, WI) in a Capitol bout, on Friday, September 3. Turner will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Phoenix enter the bout with a 2-0 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Kettle Moraine Lutheran (Jackson, WI).
The Mariners (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Martin Luther (Greendale, WI). The Spartans enter the Metro Classic bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Martin Luther lost by Racine Lutheran (Racine, WI), 33-14, in a non-league bout.
