New Mexico High School Football - Durango held off by Farmington
August 27, 2022: Farmington, NM 87401 In Saturday's non-league game, the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) football team tipped the visiting Durango Demons (Durango, CO), by a final score of 18-12.
The Scorpions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against San Juan (Blanding, UT). The Broncos come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, San Juan got by Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT), 58-6, in a non-league game.
The Demons now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Piedra Vista for a non-league game on Saturday, September 3. Durango will battle a Panthers team coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
