O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Triad Knights (Troy, IL), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers face the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a Southwestern challenge, on Tuesday, August 30. O'Fallon will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Maroons enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL).

The Knights now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Granite City for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 1. Triad will face a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Waterloo (Waterloo, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
