Georgia High School Softball - Tift County loses to Cherokee
August 27, 2022: Canton, GA 30114 The Cherokee Warriors softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Tift County Blue Devils to 3 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Cherokee improves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Walton (Marietta, GA) to clash with the Raiders in a 7A Region 5 game on Monday, August 29. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 6-8. Walton lost 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA)
In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Coffee Trojans (Douglas, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 29. Tift County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 5-4 record after their 15-0 league win over Jenkins (Savannah, GA).
