August 27, 2022: Little River Academy, TX 76554 Little River Academy Bumblebees (Little River Academy, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Franklin Lions (Franklin, TX), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bumblebees battle the North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 30. Little River Academy will attempt to advance on its 14-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX).
With the loss, Franklin drops to 6-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Westwood (Palestine, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 3A Region III District 20 match on Friday, September 9. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 9-13.
