Colorado High School Soccer - Standley Lake toppled by Jefferson Academy
August 27, 2024: Broomfield, CO 80020 Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Broomfield, CO) followers went home happy Tuesday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting Standley Lake Gators (Westminster, CO), 6-0 in a non-league battle.
The Jaguars (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Atlas Preparatory School (Colorado Springs, CO). The Gryphons enter the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Atlas Preparatory School was overwhelmed by Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Gators battle the George Washington Patriots (Denver, CO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 3. Standley Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Fort Morgan (Fort Morgan, CO).
