August 27, 2024: Shingle Springs, CA 95682 Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Union Mine Diamondbacks (El Dorado, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ponderosa improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bruins travel to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to face the Thunder in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Thunder go into the test with a record of 3-0. Rocklin won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Woodcreek (Roseville, CA)
The Diamondbacks now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mira Loma for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28.
