Ohio High School Soccer - West Holmes toppled by Lexington
August 27, 2024: Lexington, OH 44904 Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting West Holmes Knights (Millersburg, OH), 15-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Lexington advances its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH) to clash with the Tygers in a Ohio Cardinal test on Tuesday, September 3. The Tygers come into the test with a record of 3-2. Mansfield Senior lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Whetstone (Columbus, OH)
The Knights now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Union Local for a non-league test on Thursday, August 29. West Holmes will clash with a Jets team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH). The Jets record now stands at 0-3.
