The Highway 91 (Leigh, NE) softball nipped the visiting Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE), 12-11 in Tuesday's league outing.

The now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Guardian Angels Central Catholic for a non-league outing on Thursday, August 29. Highway 91 will encounter a Bluejays team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE). The Bluejays record now stands at 5-0.
