Georgia High School Softball - Ware County drops to Perry
August 27, 2024: Waycross, GA 31503 Perry Panthers (Perry, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA), 10-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, Perry improves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Lee County (Leesburg, GA) to face the Trojans in a non-league game on Wednesday, August 28. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 5-4. Lee County won 19-6 in their recent league game against Northside (Warner Robins, GA)
The Gators now hold a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Glynn Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, August 29. Ware County will face a Terrors squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Effingham County (Springfield, GA). The Terrors record now stands at 3-7.
