August 27, 2024: Sweetwater, TX 79556 The Sweetwater Mustangs (Sweetwater, TX) volleyball held off the visiting Woodson Cowboys (Woodson, TX), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Abilene Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 29. Sweetwater will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Albany (Albany, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Woodson drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Perrin-Whitt (Perrin, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 12-4.
