August 27, 2025: Appleton, WI 54913 Appleton North Lightning (Appleton, WI) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Indian Trail Hawks (Kenosha, WI), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Appleton North upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lightning host Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, WI) to meet the Tritons in a Fox Valley challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Tritons enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Notre Dame Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West (, WI)
Next, the Hawks meet the Kimberly Papermakers (Kimberly, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 27. Indian Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
