The crowd at Wednesday's league contest between the Faith Christian Patriots (Rocky Mount, NC) and the visiting Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC), saw Faith Christian's football team nip Halifax Academy by a final score of 28-22.

With the win, Faith Christian advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Rocky Mount Academy (Rocky Mount, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a bout on Thursday, September 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Rocky Mount Academy lost 44-14 in their recent league contest against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC)
