The Overhills Jaguars got by the host Harnett Central Trojans football team by a score of 18-16 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Jaguars meet the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Overhills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 30-0 non-league loss to Apex Friendship (Apex, NC).
