North Carolina High School Soccer - Hough nudges Pine Lake Prep
August 27, 2025: Cornelius, NC 28031 The Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC) soccer nipped the visiting Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC), 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Huskies now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mooresville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. Hough will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 1-1 non-league Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-4.
The Pride (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Langtree Charter Academy nudged Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 3-1, in a non-league contest.
