In Wednesday's non-league match, the Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Blue Comets battle the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 28. Asheboro will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Jets enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC).
