August 27, 2025: Reading, PA 19604 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Manheim Township Blue Streaks (Lancaster, PA) soccer team edged the host Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA), by a count of 2-1.
The Blue Streaks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Mechanicsburg Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA), 0-0, in a league match.
The Red KNights now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Harrisburg for a non-league match on Saturday, August 30. Reading will meet a Cougars team coming off a 1-0 league win over Big Spring (Newville, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
